I’m a fan of Simon Sinek, and a lot of what he discusses with his guest Mike Gervais, a performance psychologist) on this podcast resonated with me.
Particularly the idea that mastery is not a finite goal but an endless pursuit of growth and self-improvement. Linked to this idea, loved the part where he speaks about emphasising the purpose rather than specific outcomes when tackling challenging tasks. Lastly I couldn't agree more with the importance of developing psychological skills to manage thoughts and emotions. I'm working on it... ;)
