You're a b*tch and that's why we lack community

From Lydia: A great punchy name haha!

It spoke to me as I have been thinking about how much we try to optimise our lives (delivery groceries, meals, products etc) and whether our focus on convenience, efficiency and “self care” is spreading into our approach to friendships and to family/community. I value convenience but at what cost? At what point do boundaries become unhealthy/isolating? For community to strengthen, I think we need the incidental run ins or small talk with a stranger that comes from a bit of inconvenience - whether it’s going to a shop or going to a party you’re too tired for. I found myself, overall, agreeing with her take!
