From Bella:

This piece is ostensibly about AI, but also raises really interesting questions like: What actually is art? How is human creativity different from how an AI system generates new content? Is it different? For anyone who has not yet read something that makes them pause and start to realise how completely AI is going to affect the way we live our lives, this article might do that for you.

I felt for Thaler’s obsessive pursuit, and had a funny thought: if DABUS truly was the inventor why isn’t DABUS, rather than Thaler, filing for the patent and copyright? Otherwise, wouldn’t the court need proof that DABUS had hired Thaler to seek the patent?!
