Loved this talk because of its incredible range of topics: A lesson in life, economics, business, spirituality, history, decision making, human behaviour… and more so much more! I voluntarily removed the actual title of the episode because it's just click-baity and doesn't do justice to the richness of the conversation. I find this quite infuriating to be honest. We have enough of those titles going around and if it wasn't for the speaker I would not have listen to it.
Take aways for me: (capping it to 3 or this will be an essay):
The 5 big forces Ray Dalio speaks off that impact us all
Monetary : Economy, money, debt
Internal politics: left and right - disparity/ wealth inequality - internal conflicts
Geopolitics: International wars - establishment of world order until the next war
Acts of Nature: climate, pandemics
Man’s inventiveness: new technologies
The importance of being open-minded and assertive at the same time. He says: “I watch people becoming so tied to their own opinions. This is the greatest tragedy of mankind.”
The importance of honesty and transparency in business.

I loved this podcast - thanks for sharing.
It is so rare to hear such an unbiased assessment of the current state of the world (particularly the USA).
I think Ray Dalio has made very complex things easily understandable and somewhat predictable.
There is also great personal advice for our age and stage - skills to think about, career advice, investing and spiritual (meditation) tips… you name it
I find him to be an amazing voice of reason and it is rare to have soo many gems in one podcast episode.
