Georgia's Share: The Martyrdom of Charlie Kirk

From Georgia: I admire Chris Hedges’ writing and appreciated his take on the dangers of Christian Nationalism, the disproportionate reaction by mainstream media in response to Charlie Kirk’s death, and the progress the US have made towards tyranny. While I admire Kirk’s refusal to accept Zionist financial contributions it is difficult to look beyond his extremism - he once said, “I think empathy is a made up New Age term that does a lot of damage.” He didn’t just fail to show empathy, he actively dismissed it. A sobering read in a time when the same people and media are silent about a genocide.

This was a really well written, albeit scary and disheartening read. So many move about the world with hate disguised behind religion and 'values' when all they are, as Scott Galloway suggests, are 'violence entrepreneurs'. They stand for nothing except as poster children for oppression. Thanks for sharing Georgia
