From Anne: I listened to this CBC Ideas podcast about intellectual freedom a few weeks ago during Freedom to Read Week. I followed it up by reading the book "On Book Banning" by author Ira Wells who is interviewed as part of the podcast. It was valuable to review the ideas of intellectual freedom, opposing ideas, book banning, and the importance of respectful shared discussion, underlying our democracy.
