Stepping up, rather than shutting down in the face of climate change

Wow, this young woman is 20… how inspiring to know there are such passionate young people out there. This talk felt very positive and encouraging. I loved her main point about holding the tension between despair and optimism, and this intersection between passion and pain. What I particularly enjoyed was how she points out some of the failing of the sustainability/environmental movement. For example, she talks about the fact that so many people are very attached to the problems and loose sight of the solutions as well as their own happiness which in turn diminishes their sense of agency? It was an interesting way to think about it and express it.
